Join us for a three-part
virtual event on January 14th, January 21st & January 28, 2021
Forum #1: Rebuilding the Economy
January 14 at 8:00 a.m.
Legislators from the Federal Government have
been confirmed.
This high-profile event, supported by the Chamber’s Governmental Affairs Committee, draws business leaders from across the region to meet their legislators and discuss the issues impacting their business. This year, instead of an in-person event, we will break the Forum into 3 separate interactive virtual events occurring over three weeks. We will focus each forum on one to two major topics with six to eight legislators. We will also include a mix of live and taped questions from business leaders. At the end of the programming, we will use breakout rooms to provide an opportunity for attendees to further connect with legislators.
This is a critical year for business advocacy. There are many new legislators and it seems everyone has a different definition of “build back better.” When business is healthy, it drives employment, wealth generation, and a vibrant state. Connecticut has found some reasons for hope coming out of the pandemic, but it will only be sustained in a more business-friendly environment. Please participate in these important events to let our legislators hear the voice of business.
