Bear’s Smokehouse BBQ in New Haven is opening its brewery on Thursday, June 13.  In partnership with Black Hog Brewing Co., the on-site brewery will debut its first five beers brewed in-house and offer them for consumption on-site or to-go in 32-ounce crowlers.  To celebrate the launch, the restaurant will be holding a Pig Roast in the Biergarten beginning at 6:30pm.  Guests can purchase a dinner for $12, consisting of sliders from the whole smoked pig, coleslaw, potato salad and pickles; for those purchasing a four pack of crowlers of the new in-house brews, the price will be reduced to $5 (limited to one adult meal per four-pack purchase).  The inaugural season of the Ampitheatre will also kick off during this celebration, with local band Goza taking to the stage at 5:30pm.  For more information, visit
