Colorful Bacteria Art – Painting
Thursday, February 23, 2021 – 5:00-8:00pm
(half hour session slots)
FREE, Open to all, IN PERSON
In this hands-on workshop, you will create your own agar art using live microbes. Participants will create agar art by painting with microbes and learn how to use traditional biology lab techniques with artistic tools. Before the experience you watch a video giving basic instruction of how to use the tools.
You will be assigned to one of four half-hour “painting” sessions to come and paint; sessions scheduled to limit participant occupancy. After incubation, participants will join an online session (March 2nd @ 6pm) to observe and share the now visible bacterial paintings. |
