NHSO Concert Cancellations

In adherence with CDC recommendations, all NHSO concerts through May 2020 are cancelled.

Affected concerts include the Young People’s Concerts (March 25 – 30), Mendelssohn & Brahms (April 17 Classics), and La Mer/Liquid Interface (May 14 Classics). Your Symphony remains hopeful that we will present Get Happy! A Judy Garland Celebration in Hamden and Shelton on June 6-7, 2020, as well as our annual free Concert on the Green on June 20, 2020 in partnership with the International Festival of Arts and Ideas.

During this time, it is easy to focus on the separation we feel while social distancing. However, it is beautiful to witness individuals come together, not unlike a Symphony, to further this common goal for the betterment of all. We see you playing your part, as we do ours, and look forward to the time when we can be together again. Together we make great music!
